When Liquid Ag Systems was founded in 1973, "fertigation" on turf areas was a little known concept being pioneered in South Florida by Dr. Max Brown. A soil scientist and avid golfer, Brown believed the greens, fairways and tees of a golf course could be maintained in peak condition by the regular application of nutrients through the irrigation system.

The formula was simple enough.

Fertilization + Irrigation = Fertigation

While Liquid Ag Systems maintains its initial commitment to the golf industry we're plant nutrition specialists dedicated to providing the highest quality, clear, liquid fertilizers; metering systems; and sound agronomic programs needed for world-class golf, turf, lawn care, nursery and vegetable production.

Our pioneering efforts were soon recognized by agricultural markets. We quickly became what we are today, a well-respected leading supplier of liquid fertilizer and related equipment for golf courses, farms, nurseries, sports facilities, and the commercial lawn care industry.
